Holding hands

 you and me

 walking under this  rain

 soft drops on my mouth

 the taste of autumn
a sense of humid happiness
the world around us melts away in red and golden rivers 
I absorb your warmth
going restless from the need to be safe under your wings

 can you feel my hand
sleeping inside yours?...
our fingers embracing

 as our feet don't touch the ground

 we simply fly 

dancing upon 

 fallen maple leaves
