a thin line
between sunrise and sunset
my heart suddenly
learned to drink light
to feel
the exquisite pain of wanting
I felt it coming
and time stopped
at that heartbeat
my breath flew from my lips
air to air
sigh to sigh
and fingers finding their way
to the inside of my palm
I felt it coming
and it was soft
like the first snow
into the night
no sound
sweeter than my name
called between moments
of divine madness
When Scorpio rose silently over the horizon
stars stood still holding their shine -
