Beware the nights...

GOTHIC ANGEL,  found in http://goo.gl/sSHpq

Beware the nights the moon is full
when shadows dance over your dreams
and in your darkest solitude
nothing is fair as nothing seems

let not your heartbeat be deceived
when silver moonlight casts its spell
"old loves don't come to life again..."
whispers a distant midnight bell

embrace the mists that fill your heart
memories die out in the cold
beware the nights the moon is full
when comes alive your pain of old

and when her ghost comes in your sleep
to let a kiss on your forehead
bury the longing in you, deep
never again to wake the dead...

Say my name

rain lovers man woman oil painting  in  « Mayhem & Muse http://goo.gl/I9DE0
Say my name
let it bleed your lips
with every move inside me
say it

say my name
loud in anger
soft in pain
daemonic in ecstasy
let every word claim my skin
let every word penetrate your heart
the sound of your breath
when you need me so much
the truth shines
for a bitter moment
the truth shines
and you know
I am the One
and your eyes
betray your heart's desire
exchanging my light for your darkness

scream my name
utter it like a prayer
scream it like a curse
when you flow in waves
like the mighty ocean
through my blood...

Memory tree

Morning enters  from every pore of my skin
My heart is warm again
The sun still hesitates to caress my eyes
Out of a dream
hanging from the ceiling
a tree of memories
faces and laughs
smiles and tears
i look at it motionless
fear is not in my heart anymore

This morning
an old voice echoed in my ears
telling me to wake up for school
telling me to wake up for church
a mother's touch and a father's kiss in my forehead
twisting in bed with fever nightmares
the face of a brown-haired girl with shiny freckles
friends and summer days by the sea
a seashell in my palm
trying to hear the mermaid song
The memory tree changes shape
fear is not in my heart anymore
First kiss on my lips,
lovers long gone and forgotten
crazy craving of the flesh
nights under the stars singing my love
tears and deceit, pain of a broken dream

One moment enclosed in frozen time
and You, at the top of that magic tree
kind and gentle,
simple in your soul beauty
you smile at me
breaking my charcoal darkness into one thousand pieces
i become thin like a spider's web
Morning paints my half asleep heart
in rainbow colors of joy
i finally welcome the sun
i finally welcome you
beside me.

Alone at nights

Dragonflies, photo at   http://tibetanbowlhealing.blogspot.gr/

It hurts to lay alone at nights
An empty vessel echoing God's conspiracy
Searching always for the stollen life
Feeling the blossoming of an ancient sin
I was once an archer
I was a rose
Maybe a drop of rain
A leaf
A slave in love with the master
A grain of salt
A prism of divine mockery
Over my mortal self
I was, There
Then
A dying star watched me being born
It marked my coming
It will still mark my going
With dust and bitter seeds of light
The lines on my palm faint
Day by day am erased
Like an unspoken word upon the sand
Washed away by the immortal ocean
Am weary
Tired of my self
Old
Expanded and yet so small
Fitting everywhere and nowhere
Between the first dawn
And the last flickering of a butterfly's wing
Eating out the blue of my soul
Alone
at nights

THE CURSE

"Quiet footsteps", amazing art by Claudia Lucia McKinney,
used by kind permission of ©Phatpuppyart.com

It was still dark, but daylight was coming slowly to kiss away the last shadows of the night... She headed deep into the forest like she did every morning since she came there to live at the small wooden old house in the edge of town. A  43 year old lady, with green eyes almost like a panther's and dark hair hanging like twisted wires from both sides of her head, making her look like... like...well, no one could tell exactly what she looked like. If you asked any of the few locals who happened to pass outside the old wooden house the day she arrived, you would get as many different answers as the people who accidentaly - or maybe not?...- saw her that first day, when she has set her tiny feet on the ground getting out of an old rusty truck parked outside ..."

"-Nice lil lady. I offered to carry a few boxes for her into the cottage. They were a bit heavy, but she was so kind and she looked really puzzled having all that stuff in the yard...-What? Her eyes? didnt noticed anything strange bout her eyes...Normal hazel eyes, i guess... "
"-What a lovely girl! I was just passing outside ol' Herb's house and there she was, carrying inside a huge basket full of wool coils , and i thought, my oh my, a fellow knit lover! I offered to help her in with that, I introduced myself and invited her to our weekly meeting at the Ladies Club. She accepted with a smile. I really like her...Her eyes?... shiny gentle blue..."
"- Yea, saw the new one...was on my way to get Billy from his cousin's house, the ol' goat!. He should have been back home hours ago...cought him and Jimmy having beers out in the front porch...Told 'em bout the new comer...cant say much, but from the looks of her i think we need to keep an eye on that missy...  I wouldnt want anything to have with her, but as i was passing outside her door she asked me to give her a hand cause she needed to carry an old trunk into that ol rotten house...Am telling ya something was fishy about that thing...Damn it was heavy! ...Well, she didnt look the wife of any man to me, i wouldnt be surprised if we soon hear more of her... Her eyes?...Black...Just like that damn black cat of hers..."

She smiled as she was walking under tall old trees, feeling the fallen leaves softly cracking under her feet... Finally, she stopped. She opened her lips and took one last deep breath...After that, nothing would be the same anymore...

My love drips on your granite heart
monotonous song of pain and despair
I curse the sea that keeps us apart
me here on my own and you alone there...

I do not fear the darkest night
but what scares me the most
is that I slowly lose my mind
as I embrace your ghost...
